Beyond her professional accomplishments, Roberta has one son who is currently a graduate student at MUSC.  He is working towards his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and will graduate Spring 2025.  She enjoys the outdoors including walks in the metro parks and golfing.  In 2023, she and her son started their tradition of running 5k's in both Charleston, South Carolina and Cleveland, Ohio.
